To meet the global goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, the EcoDesign directive for transformers with Tier 2 efficiency requirements has been implemented in Europe. As of July 1, 2021, small, medium, and large power transformers must meet the Tier 2 requirements for loss efficiency, and transformer manufacturers are fully responsible for implementing the law.
This regulation was published in the Official Journal of the European Union and sets out the maximum loss levels and minimum efficiency (designation 548/2014) for transformers supplied to the EU. Power transformers are part of the distribution network. To ensure economical and energy-efficient configuration, meet EU requirements, Shine can design, manufacture and deliver transformers and complete substations to the European region according to your specifications. Shine purchases transformers that are designed to meet efficiency requirements to comply with the latest EcoDesign Tier 2 directive for transformer losses.
On November 20, 2024, Shine conducted EcoDesign related training for employees again, enabling them to fully understand the regulations of this project.
